A simple breakdown of my visit

This hidden gem offers cozy bungalows just steps from a fine beach. With only four units, privacy is guaranteed. The modern amenities, including a good breakfast. Tyler and his team provided superb assistance while respecting our space. Can't wait to return!

Great location in the peninsula was a plus. The rooms were perfect, stylish, and had climate control, a private safe and a mini-fridge-bar. The staff was incredibly hospitable, they were always available...

Affable stuff and absolutely perfect location make it a great choice! Area is really cool and close enough to the peninsula, activities and restaurants and the beach nearby.

Consider renting an ATV for easy access to town activities and restaurants, as the area offers great scenic walks and a peaceful ambiance.

A culinary surprise each morning

Waking up to the aroma of warm, homemade breakfast every morning was a true joy. The tranquility of the location added to the charm, great to really unwind and connect with nature.

I appreciated the modern amenities and comfortable beds in my Queen Studio. The garden setting and proximity to the beach created a serene atmosphere, ideal for relaxation. The bathroom's outdoor accessibility was less convenient, especially at night, and some breakfast options were limited for specific dietary needs.

Staying at Makanas Beach Bungalows was a highlight of my trip! The comfortable bungalow offered a serene escape with beautiful grounds, while the close proximity to the beach allowed for fine walks and amazing sunsets. I loved the delicious breakfast of fresh fruit and coffee every morning.

Just an ideal choice for a stopover in Playa Santa Teresa with extraordinarily good value for money. The beach is only a 2-minute walk away, and I enjoyed my mornings there with almost nobody around. Make sure to bring mosquito repellent for the jungle area when planning to stroll out in the evening.

The bungalows are beautifully restored and very spacious, set in a tranquil jungle location. The accessible pathways made it easy for me to navigate.

Highly recommend for couples seeking intimacy

The bungalow was impeccably maintained! Had a private terrace we used for morning coffee, watching the monkeys swinging around above us.

It wasn't inexpensive but good enough for what we experienced.

The Bungalow with Patio was spotlessly clean and well-equipped. I loved how peaceful it felt, with the wildlife like monkeys right above us. A/C worked great, a must during the humid days. Breakfast was fresh and delicious too. Only downside? The outdoor bathroom situation wasn't ideal at night-that could get a bit inconvenient.
